Having has a previous bad experience with another garage I was a but nervous about buying off a website/over the phone but I have to say Phil at Cartec made my whole experience absolutely 1st class! From my initial enquiry to the hanfover of the cars the
whole process was fantastic! I was originally due to collect the car but due to an unforseen issue with the infotainment system and it needing a part, So I wasn't inconvenienced, Phil very kindly offered to deliver the car to
me (65 miles away) free of charge and even with a full tank of fuel !!! The car was delivered on the back of a truck by their lovely driver and in absolute pristine condition with all the relevant paperwork and documents in a folder.
Absolutely 100% recommend Cartec and would not hesitate to go back when I'm looking to change my car again. Just a
shame they aren't on my doorstep of I wouldn't hesitate to use them for MOT and service.

"Car went for an MOT, prompt service and an uncovered safety issue found and rectified, technician called to explain and that car can be sorted same day(even though they close early on a saturday) with a reasonable cost to rectify. Defective tyre was shown on collection and inside tyre wall was split which had been blown up prior to MOT due to a pressure warning light. Tyre seemed to be holding air with little signs of a slow puncture. Thanks for finding and ensuring my car was left safe."

We recently purchased a used Rav4 from Cartec; they prepared the car quickly to accommodate our needs and when I noticed one or two minor issues (having driven the car for a few days) the service centre rectified them immediately (replacing the necessary parts) without argument. I cannot recommend the service centre in particular highly enough - outstanding customer service! They put Audi Newcastle to shame. We will definitely use Cartec again.

Just had a diagnostic and a major service with them. Very professional and quick to identify the problem with the car, and very fair in telling me what's wrong with it.

Although i asked about other possible problems (identified as advisory by a less honest garage in the past), they checked them out and reassured there is nothing to fix now, so I am confident to say they run a fair business.

Also, had to replace back tyres, and they were happy to fit them in the front, and have the front ones fit to the back (FWD car) at no extra cost.

Overall, very happy with them and i would recommend!

As I was planning on purchasing a replacement, Cartec were able to source the exact van at a great price for me. Marc was the salesman we dealt with, he was very helpful and professional, making sure we were safe and cleaned everything down as we went. Really good experience from these guys!!! I Initially phoned to ask about a ford fiesta they had for sale to use as a second car but unfortunately was sold. The sales guy then told me about some other cars they had in stock which was within my budget. I thought i would go along and have a look, i originally had a fiesta in mind because i had one before but once i was shown the other cars i settled on a really nice clean peugeot which i love. I can't fault this company at all. Right from the start, Quincy made the purchase of my new car a pleasure. There were no pushy salesmen but if you wanted help, you just had to ask.
After three weeks I had a major problem with my car, which they recovered. It was something that was not their fault and could not have been predicted. I was given the option of having that car fixed or choosing a new car. I chose to have a different car which was the other one I had liked initially. The could not have been more apologetic and sorry and made the whole situation a lot easier.
When I buy my next car, I will definitely be going back to Cartec.

We bought a car from Cartec and the whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish, The Sales Person (Marc) was very knowledgeable and advised us on the type of car for a young driver, including insurance and running costs etc. My daughter took the car and was overjoyed. 3 days later the exhaust fell off the car, this can happen at anytime especially with some of the larger speed bumps around, so I couldn't fault Cartec for that. However they arranged for the car to be picked up, and a new exhaust fitted free of charge. You simply could not have asked for anymore. I can also endorse their garage services as well, all of my family and some friends use their garage, and they have always been fair and not expensive. Well done Cartec, just keep on doing what you are doing.

I own a landrover discovery 3. Which is on its second set of E G R valves which cost over £500 a pair plus labour charge to fit. The vehicle goes into limp mode and is very dangerous to drive. I took the disco to Cartec for them to check it over to make sure it was the valves. They plunged it into their fault code machine and it came up with E G R fault codes. Thinking the worst they suggested cleaning out the E G R valves with a new machine they were thinking of purchasing. I am pleased to say we have driven over 1500 miles with out any faults. And the disco is running the best it's ever been. When we book our disco in for its survice we will also book it in for another clean out of the valves to keep on top of them. A big thanks to all at Cartec for saving us a small fortune

We have had our new car for the past week with absolutely no problems.
From choosing our car to driving it home the whole experience was fantastic.
We turned up thinking of changing from our civic which was still under finance but because of the great part ex value we were given this enabled us to upgrade our car to an outlander.
Our salesman was David who made sure we where completely confident with the car before we signed anything was great, we where taken on a test drive which I could take anywhere rather than a planned route which alot of dealers have (this is usually a ploy to stay on the smoothest roads possible) during the test drive I noticed a couple of things that needed doing to get the car perfect and was assured this would all be done by the time I picked it up.
Upon looking around the car and paperwork I picked up a couple of other things which again wasn't a problem for this garage (mudflaps needed resealing and a tyre needed a slow puncture repair).
I think for me the biggest thing was the timing belt was due to be done and once I mentioned this to my surprise I was told this would be done within the service carried out pre delivery which true to there word it was, also stamed and sighned the service book to confirm.
The pre delivery work included the niggles I had found a full service including timing belt and water pump and an mot also as they where doing these checks they came across a few things themselves which didn't NEED to be done (ball joint track rod end two new front tyre and rear breaks) but they done them as they weren't up to the standard they have set for themselves. My car also came with a 12 month warranty and 12 month AA breakdown cover with free MOTs for the time I have the car so all in all an absolute brilliant experience and a massive thank you to all the guys at cartech.

Now the warranty I thankfully haven't had to use but if I do as always I will update this post and add a new one but if it is half as good as the sales it is only going to be good

I went to Cartec showroom at Vroom with a view to exchanging my old vehicle for a newer model. I walked into the showroom and was warmly welcomed and invited to view the cars on the forecourt. There was no pressure but I was informed that if I required any information it would be readily supplied. There were several models but with their advice I opted for a SEAT IBIZA. I was given an excellent exchange value for my old car and purchased my new car. The after sales service has been excellent from very friendly staff. I would definitely go back to Cartec when I need to change again.

At first i was a bit apprehensive about buying a car from a used car dealer as i have always bought my previous cars from a main dealer and mostly new. On arriving at the garage to view there Ford Fiesta i was pleasantly greeted and was shown the car then the sales guy left me to view at my leisure whilst he went back inside to get all the documents for me to look at . The Fiesta was very well presented and in really good order, i went back inside to have a good look through all the documents they had including checking how many owners the car had on the log book and a look through its service book. Everything being in order i asked about the possibility of having a drive of the car which i did and again everything was fine so we sat down and i agreed to purchase the Fiesta at a very good price. I waited 2 weeks before doing this review just to make sure everything was fine and things have been great and i have been very impressed in their manner towards everything. Well done
