Your vehicle needs a valid MOT certificate

If your car is over three years old, then you need to legally prove that it is of sufficient roadworthiness to be driven on the road. Every vehicle over three years old requires a valid MOT certificate and a valid certificate only lasts for a twelve-month period. You need to obtain an MOT certificate from a garage that has been approved to issue a certificate following a successful MOT inspection, which is where we come in. We can provide you with a thorough and comprehensive MOT test that will firmly establish your vehicle's roadworthiness.

We offer repairs following an MOT failure

Few cars, especially older models, sail through the MOT first time around. If we do fail your vehicle, we will give you a clear and precise explanation as to why we failed it and what you need to do to put things right. We will also offer to make repairs, but only after advising you as to how much the repairs will cost. We will only perform repairs once we have your approval to go ahead and make them.

Helping you fix problems before they occur

Having your vehicle serviced on a regular basis will allow you to spot issues before they become a major problem. The sooner an issue can be attended to, the easier it will be to fix, and it will certainly be much less expensive than if the problem is allowed to worsen. Vehicles are complicated animals these days, and although this means they are generally more reliable, there's also a lot that can go wrong with them.

Regular servicing is the best way of keeping your car on the road longer and keeping you and your passengers safe.

High-quality repairs at affordable prices

You know how inconvenient it can be to be without your car, especially if you need to get to work, or you have chores to run, or your children need to be fetched from school. If something does go wrong, then you'll want a repair that's going to be of high-quality, that's going to perform with the minimum of inconvenience to yourself, and that's not going to be unreasonably expensive.

Get your car purring like a pampered puss

Modern-day engines are fantastically complicated, with hundreds of moving parts, electronic sensors and often a computerised management system. The engine diagnostic services we are able to provide you with will make sure your engine is running as smoothly as it should, and will identify any problem areas or parts of the system that can do with a bit of a tweak.

Engine diagnostic services are not just for new and modern cars. Even if your car has been around for some time, engine diagnostics will lengthen its longevity and increase its fuel efficiency.

We use specialist computer equipment

Running engine diagnostic checks is done using the latest in sensors, computer equipment and dedicated software. We can perform dozens of tests, all designed to make sure all aspects of your engine are running as well as they can. If we do find a fault, we'll advise you of the best policy for you to go about fixing it, although we can often fix minor issues for you there and then.

Makes sure your tyres are roadworthy

If there really is one aspect of your vehicle that you cannot compromise on, it's your tyres. They will keep you on the road as long as they are in good condition, have a decent amount of tread, and are inflated to recommended levels. If any of your tyres fail to meet these standards, then you could be putting both yourself and other road users at risk, especially when the weather is wet or the road conditions perilous.

We stock a wide range of both premium and budget tyres, from manufacturers including Goodyear, Dunlop, Pirelli, Bridgestone, Continental, Michelin and others.

Specialist tyres and repair services

If your tyre suffers a puncture, it doesn't necessarily mean you will need a new tyre as a replacement. Unless the puncture is particularly bad, we should be able to repair for you. We can also supply specialist winter and summer tyres for you, and fit all your tyres whilst you wait.

Affordable doesn't mean less quality

Your clutch is one of the main parts of your vehicle that suffers the most wear and tear and most vehicles will need their clutch replacing at least once in their lifetimes. You'll want to know that your replacement clutch is as good as the one that it is replacing, which is why we never skimp on quality. Furthermore, we make sure any replacement parts we fit to your vehicle are as good as we can get for the prices we think you reasonably ought to be expected to pay. We're not here to cost you money, we're here to get you back on the road.

Often a replacement is not necessary

If you come to us with a faulty clutch, we guarantee we will not tell you it needs replacing automatically as the first step. We will run a series of detailed checks to see why your clutch is not performing as it should. If it is more cost-effective to repair your clutch than to replace it, we will make sure we tell you the good news.

Exhaust too noisy? Time to replace it

Your exhaust system plays an important role in your vehicle's engine system. It takes the fumes that are generated by your vehicle's fuel combustion and delivers them safely away, converting harmful gases into carbon dioxide and water as it does so. If your exhaust is not working properly, it may be allowing those gases to end up where they are not wanted, possibly even inside the car itself. If that is the case, then there could potentially be disastrous consequences. You need to make sure your exhaust system is performing how it should.

We can perform exhaust repairs as well

Everyone recognises the sound of a faulty exhaust, but that's only usually when a hole has appeared in the silencer, which could be a symptom of a more serious problem. If you suspect you are having problems with your exhaust, bring your car into us as soon as you can. We are more likely to be able to repair the problem, rather than replace the entire exhaust system, if you arrange an examination sooner rather than later.
